What if it rains?
Passenger safety and comfort is a primary focus of Sea NYC. The captain closely monitors the forecast and the boat is equipped with Sirius weather mapping services for up to the minute weather conditions. If foul weather is being forecasted for the time of the tour, the captain will contact the passengers and discuss options including rescheduling.
Is there a rest room on board?
There is no rest room for charter passengers. Restrooms are available at the marina and passengers are encouraged to use the rest room prior to boarding the boat.

Will I get wet?
Usually the boat is dry, but in windy and choppy conditions some spray may blow across the deck. Rain ponchos can be provided if passengers are concerned about some wind blown spray.

Are life jackets required?
Life jackets are available for all passengers. Only children under 12 years of age are required to wear life jackets.

Can I take pictures?
Pictures and videos are encouraged! The captain will stop at various points of interest so you can capture some of the most amazing sights NYC has to offer.
What should I wear?
Passengers should wear comfortable attire and dress for the current weather conditions. No high heels are permitted on the boat as they can damage the boat decking.
Are food and drinks allowed?
Absolutely! Please feel free to bring your own refreshments. A cooler is available if needed. If ice is required, please notify the captain ahead of time.

Are there pickup locations in Manhattan?
Additional pick and drop of locations are available in New Jersey and Manhattan. Surcharges may apply for alternate pickup and/or drop off locations. Alternate locations consist of:

Can I play music
Sea NYC is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system to enhance your experience. Passengers can connect to the sound system using Bluetooth to play their favorite playlists and songs.
